All tags require a prop to use. Tags are OOC devices that describe an item’s functions; any item which can be set down or weilded in the hand must have a tag on it.. It is a good idea to carry a Tag Wallet, and tags are sized appropriately for this. Tags for equipment that is worn, such as Armor, Cloaks, Necklaces, Earings, etc, should be placed in a player’s ledger.
Weapons, Shields, Implements, and Subclass Kits all take up either a 1H or 2H slot. You only gain the benefits from these items when they are held in hand.
Magic Items come in several varieties, and you may only gain the benefits of a limited number at a time:
Some magic items take up an Armor Slot instead, which means that actual armor cannot be worn there. These slots are listed below:
Consumables are one-use items. These, too, require props. Any item that is consumed must be roleplayed accordingly. Example: food items should be eaten, whetstones should be used to sharpen the blade, and scrolls should be read out loud and burned or torn after use.
A general rule of thumb for consumable potions:
Red: Restores Blood
Blue: Restores Spirit
Green: Produces an Effect when Consumed
Potions must be represented physically with a colored liquid of some kind, or a solid tablet or candy.
