Good food is a rarity in the world of Ananke, with subsistence farming and simple rations being the mainstay of most families, indeed, fancy meals outside of very rare celebrations are often looked upon as rewards only for collaborators and those who prey on others. With such a compromised diet, those who can make even the worst foods pallateable are sought after members of ships, families, and societies.
Who Will Enjoy: Anyone who enjoys Cooking and working with food, especially cooking for their friends and the Group.
Cross-Subclass: Works well with Farmer and Hunter, is able to consume these resources to create powerful temporary boons to assist the chef's allies
9 to 5 [Slotted Ability]: Any Consumable you Consume that Restores Blood, may restore 1 Additional Blood.
Workaholic: 9 to 5 May Instead be Spirit.
Married to the Job: 9 to 5 May Instead be Restore Blood All with 30 Seconds Weakness.
15 Second Roleplay with Tools, you may Butcher any Edible Animal or Plant based Monsters you come across, and gain a single Meat, Plant, or Herb from it where appropriate. This destroys the body.
Gamble Slice: You may All or Nothing. If you win, you gain 2 Additional Components. If you lose, you gain none.
Provisioner: You may provide OOC Ingredients to the Inn for use by the group. You may gain 1 Time Unit. This can only be used twice per Event.
Stuffed to Bursting: You may put two Self Only Chef Imbuement Boons into One Imbuement Slot.
Taste the Stock: (1 Focus) While in the Kitchen, You may consume a Chef Ingredient, and immediately restore 2 Blood or Spirit.
Group Stew: You may leave out a communal dish of some kind, and gain 1 Time Unit. This can only be used once per meal.
Victory Celebration: So long as it is appropriate, you may designate a Feast a “Victory Feast”, and incorporate an element of the victory into your feast. It will gain a unique one-time bonus assigned by Staff. Overuse will diminish the power of this skill, not every battle deserves a Victory Feast.
Gourmand's Eye: (2 Focus) You may convert an Aura on one of your Recipes, to an Imbuement.
Special Attention: (1 Time Unit) You may increase the non-Time Unit Numeric of the Item created from Rank 1-3 recipes by 1. This stacks with Started At the Bottom, and can only be done up to 3 Times. Must be done at time of creation.
Tavern Prep: You may clean the Kitchen to Staff Satisfaction to gain a Time Unit.
Chef's Pride: While At a House Event: If you spend 5 minutes setting out snacks for the PC Base, you may regain a single Focus. While at a Campsite Event: After the conclusion of any Designated Meal Time where you prepared at least one meal, you may regain a single Focus.
Special Occasion: (5 Meat/Dish, 30/Feast) You may apply a unique bonus to the food depending on the quality of the Meat and what the feast celebrates, any who partake will gain this bonus. See Staff to make this bonus.
Just Dessert: You may leave out a baked good of some kind between Meals for the Town as a Whole, and gain 1 Time Unit.
Started at the Bottom: (1 Focus) You may increase the non-Time Unit Numeric of the Item created from rank 1-3 recipes by 1. This stacks with Special Attention, and can be done up to 3 times. Must be done at time of creation.
Proper Setting: You may stock the Inn with proper Cutlery and Dishware (IC Looking), all your Chef Subclass Skills cost -1 Focus to use in the Inn to a Minimum of 1.
Careful Portioning: (1 Time Unit) You may convert one of your Non-Feast meals into a Feast that feeds a group. It loses 1 Numeric value, and if it would be an Imbuement, is now an Aura.

You may create a "Food Crate", which can be sold to merchants, or used on the Tactical Map. They are often consumed over Winter by nations and are of greatest value during this time.

You may create a Preserved Food Crate. This is a Strategic Map item that does not go bad or get consumed by Rodents.
