Effects are Specific status’ that can be delivered to a character, that influences them in several ways, including Statistically, Roleplay, or Actions. They can be as mundane as simply tripping or falling to the ground, or as terrible as becoming sickened by a Plague. They are divided into three categories: Instant, Durational, and Lasting.
States- These are states of being, you move into them and out of them based on conditions such as Time or Footsteps, or very rarely, with a call that forces you into that state.
- Flight: While flying, you cannot be hit with Boffers, but may still be hit with Ranged Weapons such as Packets, Arrows, or Bullets. Flight can be given as a Time Duration, or as a number of Footsteps.
ie: Flight, 20 Steps, or Flight, 1 Encounter.- Invisibility: Invisibility means you cannot be seen by anyone without See Invisibility. Invisibility is dropped if you are struck, or move unless the Invisibility specifies otherwise. Invisibility can be given a number of steps you may take that do not disrupt your invisibility.
