2.16 Impact of EC program in supporting the SDGs

SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action) significantly impact energy and climate change initiatives at Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA). SDG 7 promotes the use of renewable energy sources and energy-efficient systems in campus facilities. SDG 12 encourages sustainable waste management and resource conservation practices among staff and students. SDG 13 drives awareness, research, and actions to reduce carbon emissions and adapt to climate challenges. Together, these goals support PSA’s transition toward a sustainable, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible institution.
