The goal of the UI GreenMetric is to encourage universities to become more sustainable and promote green campuses. The rankings aim to:
Draw attention to climate change, clean energy, water conservation, and more.
Encourage universities to introduce changes to their behaviour and practices.
Build a collective commitment to sustainable campuses.
