The buildings at the institution received FIVE (5) recognitions under: 1. Green Building Index (GBI), Green Energy Office (GOE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), National Energy Awards (NE), and Low Carbon Buildings Assessment.

PT6: NUMBER OF RENEWABLE ENERGY APPLICATIONS ON CAMPUS
Producing FIVE (5) or more applications of Green Technology in energy savings.

PT7: MINIMISING ELECTRICITY USAGE AND TARIFF PAYMENTS
The institution implements FIVE (5) or more electricity-saving activities or programmes.

PT8: RATIO OF CARBON EMISSIONS TO CAMPUS STUDENTS
More than 401 students and above are involved in the carbon footprint reduction programme.

PT9: ESTABLISHMENT OF ENERGY USED INDEX (EUI) THRESHOLD AND AWARD FOR ELIGIBLE POLYTECHNICS AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES
All buildings have complete and functional submetering.

PT10: BEST PRACTICE COMPETITION FOR ADDRESSING THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE
FIVE (5) or more innovative contributions among PolyCC members that can contribute to climate change solutions or energy efficiency management.
