2.1 Energy efficient appliances usage

At Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA), several energy-saving initiatives have been implemented to support sustainability. The installation of large industrial fans at the Islamic Centre helps reduce electricity consumption by improving air circulation efficiently. The use of energy-efficient Forostat machines minimizes power usage during operations. Solar-powered streetlights along PSA roads reduce dependence on grid electricity and promote renewable energy. Additionally, the use of 3-star energy-rated fans and refrigerators ensures lower energy consumption and reduced electricity bills. These efforts align with PSA’s commitment to promoting energy efficiency and supporting sustainable campus development.
