Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA) offers a total of fourteen (14) academic programmes that are aligned with the principles of sustainability and sustainable development. These programmes, offered across engineering, technology, and commerce disciplines, integrate sustainability concepts either directly through their technical content or indirectly through management, innovation, and responsible business practices.
Each programme aims to cultivate environmental awareness, resource efficiency, and social responsibility among students—preparing them to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future. The curriculum across all programmes supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by embedding elements such as green technology, energy efficiency, sustainable materials, facility and infrastructure management, technological innovation, and ethical business operations.
All 14 programmes offered at PSA contribute to advancing sustainability through diverse academic pathways—ranging from engineering and technology to business and management. Each programme supports the institution’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
Through these programmes, PSA nurtures graduates who are capable of integrating sustainability values into their professional practice and promoting green innovation within their respective industries.
