2.11 Total carbon  footprint 

The majority of PSA’s carbon emissions come from electricity consumption, contributing about 93% of the total footprint. Emissions from cars (4.9%) and motorcycles (2%) make up the remainder. This indicates that energy usage in campus facilities and operations is the primary contributor to PSA’s carbon footprint. 

Reducing energy consumption, transitioning to renewable sources such as solar power, and encouraging sustainable transportation (e.g., electric vehicles, cycling, or public transit) could significantly lower the institution’s overall emissions.
