The SmartGreen 2025 discussion with the top management saw broad committee consensus on the unit's ten listed justifications, setting a strong foundation for the year. A key decision was made to seek an alternative certification for EKSA due to JPPKK's current accreditation limitations. The importance of collaboration between the UI Green and MPCC committees was emphasised, whether through joint efforts or shared resources. The meeting confirmed a focus on four key awards for 2025, with plans to expand to the LCC2030 Challenge and Green Award in 2026. Ambitious ranking targets were set for PSA, particularly within MPCC and UIGreen. To ensure departmental buy-in, an expedited meeting with department heads was scheduled to clarify committee roles. A call for universal departmental involvement underscored SmartGreen 2025 as a PSA-wide responsibility. Finally, benchmarking visits to institutions like PBS and other relevant agencies were deemed essential for knowledge sharing and strategic development.

The SmartGreen first meeting for 2025 addressed key organisational and operational aspects for the year. A core decision was made to ensure departmental representation across all focus areas, with a Google Sheet link provided for department heads to nominate representatives. Formal appointment letters for committee members by the director will solidify these roles. Focus area managers' selections will prioritise expertise and experience, while the green procurement focus area will focus primarily on administrative staff involvement. Focus area 5 was identified as needing a new manager, and website development will be handled by a dedicated committee with relevant expertise. TPA made several requests, including the provision of a compost preparation area, an SPAH drum, and the implementation of an IoT watering system using a SPA tank. Finally, a benchmarking visit to MBSA was deemed crucial for future collaborative opportunities.
