Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah has achieved a prestigious milestone in its journey toward carbon neutrality by being awarded the Diamond Recognition for the Zone Category in the Low Carbon City Challenge 2030. This top-tier award, organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability through the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), acknowledges PSA's significant success in reducing carbon emissions across the campus. The Diamond status serves as a powerful testament to the effectiveness of the SmartGreen PSA initiatives, validating the institution’s rigorous efforts in energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainable infrastructure. This achievement not only elevates PSA's reputation at a national level but also reinforces its role as a leader in supporting Malaysia's goal of becoming a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions nation by 2050.
