There are four career paths in cosmetology:

• Career Path 1: Complete 12th class (any stream), B.Sc in Cosmetology, and M.Sc in Cosmetology.

• Career Path 2: Complete 12th class (any stream), Diploma in Cosmetology, and PG Diploma in Cosmetology.

• Career Path 3: Complete 12th class (any stream), Certificate in Cosmetology/Beautician.

• Career Path 4: Complete 12th class (Biology), MBBS, MD(Dermatology), and Certificate/Diploma in Medical Cosmetology.

Each career path has different educational requirements and job opportunities.
