Clinical Physiology

A clinical psychologist is a mental health professional who assesses and treats mental health disorders. They typically work with individuals who have anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, and other forms of mental illness. Clinical psychologists may also work with individuals with serious mental health issues such as psychosis. Note that clinical psychologists are not physicians and do not prescribe medications. Instead, they work closely with psychiatrists to provide comprehensive mental health care. 

• Clinical psychology is a branch of psychology that deals with the assessment and treatment of mental illness, abnormal behavior, and psychiatric problems.

• Clinical psychologists use a variety of methods to diagnose and treat disorders, including interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.

• They also develop and implement treatment plans, monitor client progress, and conduct research.

To become a clinical psychologist, you can either complete a BA(H)psychology/Applied Psychology after 12th in any stream or a B.Sc in psychology. Further, you can pursue an M.Sc in clinical psychology and then an M.Phil/Ph.D.
