Youth is defined as the time of life when one is young, which means the time between childhood and adulthood. It is also defined as the appearance of a happy spirit and freshness.
I was a young girl and I didn't think much about how life would change overtime as time goes by;how important it is to live your youth/childhood and life at the fullest.
I remember a time when I was twelve, a time that is unforgettable to me. It was a bright sunny morning, I was sleeping I could hear my mom calling out from the living room, she was trying to wake my sisters and me up. I woke up feeling a little light headed because I woke up very fast from my mom shouting;I could hear the birds chirping from the outside of the luminous sunny morning.
I looked at my surroundings and I saw that everyone was looking at my mom I went to the living room to see what was going on.It didn't seem like something was wrong with her and there wasn't anything wrong with her. She actually looked thrilled, she announced that we were going to a water park.
I had never gone to one,so I felt so excited,I could feel my heart beating very fast,my heart was like a bomb, ready to explode. It was a feeling that I hadn't felt before. I was ready to go I dashed back to my room to get dressed I was putting on blue jean shorts, sandals, and a colorful shirt to wear to the park, I brushed my teeth and my hair right after I finished eating breakfast , of course. Slow slow slow we drove,it took ten minutes, that is how long the ride felt or maybe it was the urge to get there soon enough that I felt that I couldn't wait to get there. I was so exited it was the very first time in a long time that my family and I went somewhere together as a family. I was trusting that it was going to be an unforgettable experience to go to that water park.
As soon as we arrived I could see the entire water park the day was very sunny, luminous, and vibrant. There were people with smiles on their faces, they were running around and playing with their children with their soaking wet clothes. The water park had many stations to play with many slides and swings filled with kids that were filled with laughter and joy .Everyone seem to be enjoying their time together with all their family members playing and getting wet by the refreshing water. The sun was at its brightest point in the cerulean sky, the wind blew past my cheek and through my hair I could smell the sweetness of the pink bloomed flowers from the green bushy tall trees, I felt free, I was free to delight in a sunny day at the park with my family. I didn't think of it twice by the time I was there I sprinted towards the station of the center of the park where all the sprinkles splash as I kicked the water aiming towards my sisters, sprays of water were coming up from the ground with a drawn shape of a white star.
Everyone was hopping, jumping, and jogging here and there from left to right trying to get wet from the freshness of the water. I was also trying to get wet and playing tag with my sisters back and forth sprinting and giggling from the sprinkles of water hitting our faces, looking up squinting our eyes with gracious smiles. I went to another station the playground, where, there were swings and slides to swing, slide, and skip through. I was swinging looking up at the shimmering sun how the sky was blue, the sky looked vivid with the sparkling sun. I was just trusting that this wonderful day will never end. The day was coming to a tail, all of my family seemed so happy to be there enjoying their time eating and playing around, squealing with laughter, chasing each other through out that sunny glorious day .Today I still remember how overjoyed and happy I felt that day that joyous day at the water park with all of my loved ones, family.
Wishing that laughter and playfulness will be there in my life endlessly. But at some point you bloom from a child to an adult or a teenager and you don't regularly have free time to have a break from all the worries, stress, and sadness that there is in your life to forget about them for a moment and just live your life. People should relish/appreciate their youth and life while you still can because your life can completely change. You won't be able to go back and experience the fulfillment of joy that life gives you from the start.´´The unforgettable experiences of your life with your family and the people you cherish and love the most are the most important things of all.''Moments that you had or wish to have in your life will be gone.
What inspired me to write this essay was myself I wanted to write something that reminds me a part of my life that is important to me and an event/experience that I will never forget,an experience of an event of my youth.A time where my family and I spend a great time together as a family united and joyous. Not only was this essay something for me to remember but also to share with other people how can they relate to this event of my life. How important it is to have your family together spend time with them most of all to live your life at the fullest.
In the essay ´´Youth,´´Ashley Flores draws attention to the reader by defining what is youth and how youth is explained to be the start of happiness in a person when they are a child.I focus on the importance that youth should be in a person's life. To understand the word ´´youth´´,that my youth experience was and how a person should have viewed the happiness of youth in a person's point of time in life. Then, I explain not only how youth is defined in a person's life but also how I realized the importance and the significance of what youth is for me.How youth is significant to a person's life experiences, that you should start living your life with joyous experiences when you are a child. Your youth experiences when you are a child should be lived happily with your family and loved ones the people you cherish the most.
The essay starts with a definition of ´´youth´´how youth is defined and explained when a person is a child the appearance of a happy spirit and freshness, the time of life when one is young, which means the time between childhood and adulthood. Ashley uses descriptive words ´´happy´´and ´´freshness´´ to explain in detailed words how youth is defined when a person is a child in the introduction of the essay.
Ashley adds a sentence that explains her thoughts about youth and how she realized the significance of it and the rapid change of life as a person lives their life, also the sentence explains the author's message of the essay,For example, she uses these sentences to explain the time when she was a girl she didn't think about how youth needs to be lived at the fullest,´´I was a young girl'',and I didn't think much about how life would change overtime as time goes by.´´How important it is to live your youth/life at the fullest.´´
In the following paragraphs she begins to explain more of her experiences with her family when she was twelve years old and how it was an ´´unforgettable experience´´ for her it was one of the times that she actually spend a good joyous time with her family at the water park using descriptive details for the reader to better understand how she felt and viewed her experience at the water park. She used simile to describe the feeling of being excited to go to the water park,´´my heart was like a bomb´´she compares her heart with a bomb to describe her excitement. Then she uses ´´hopping´´/´´jumping´´/´´jogging´´ to create rhyme to describe in detail what people were doing in the water park playing with family and also what she was doing to highlight the motions/verbs of excitement she felt when she got there she just had fun being there playing with siblings and friends mostly her family. The tone of this piece is ´´encouraging´´ to encourage people to live their life happily with your family and with unforgettable experiences that life puts in your youth/life from the start.´´Have free time to have break from all the worries, stress, and sadness that there is in your life to forget about them and live your life.´´
Ashley ends with her wishing that her fun experience with her family and that playfulness would be in her life endlessly. She ends with her explaining how people should appreciate those happy unforgettable moments and experiences with people you love the most, family and your loved ones.People should not be sad and should not stress you should live happily with your family because life goes on and you should just live your life at the fullest. The main message sentence is provided at the end of her essay and in the last sentence,´´The unforgettable experiences of your life with your family and the people you cherish and love the most are the most important things of all.´´
