In English 3 class at Northbrook High School, we learn to develop our voices and our unique writing styles. We study the work of other authors, and we practice literary and rhetorical analysis, becoming critically conscious of the world and of our own impact as authors. At the end of each semester, we produce a literary magazine sharing some of our work with you, our readers.

All of the work on this website has been done by students. From the countless hours spent drafting, revising and editing our work, to the final days of formatting, designing and proofreading webpages, students have labored to publish this literary magazine as a celebration of their voices and their limitless potential as authors and as human beings.

We hope you enjoy reading our work, and more than anything, we hope that the stories, essays and poems shared on this website will inspire you to write your own stories, to share your own ideas, and to find your own voice as a writer.
