When I was little my three older sisters were always mean to me, they even scared me for fun, mostly every night. The three of them were jealous of me because I was the only male and I was the most loved one in my family and they would always get mad at my dad, but I mean I was cute and a good kid back then.
On different occasions they would always scare me at night, if I was sleeping, just for fun ,and for vengeance they thought it was funny for them and one night they bought a puppet called billy the puppet from the horror movie the series SAW and my sisters were young the oldest one was twenty one the second oldest was nineteen and my third sisters was fifteen and I was like 7 or eight years old so later that night it was like 2:30 am I was sleeping so me as a kid hearing some noises in the living room and I thought I was dreaming that it was Christmas and Santa Claus came to put some gifts under the Christmas tree but it wasn't even December that time.
The minute I woke up and I was “oh well is a dream”, so a few minutes passed and I had to go used the restroom when I got out I didn't notice that the puppet of the moves was already there in my room close to my door. So once I was finished doing my business I washed my hands and I was gonna go back to sleep but then I was thirsty and I decided to turn on the lights of my room and when I did my “nightmare” was there ,the puppet of the movie saw.
When my sister heard I was calling them they didn't come up and see what happened so my dad recently came from work from Chipotle he heard I was crying and ran to my room and he immediately saw that ugly puppet the only funny thing I saw my dad even got scared and my dad knew already who did the “joke”, and my dad was mad and my sisters they even lied about it and my dad was so mad that he took their phones, make up, hair extensions. That was punishment, and since that day and even today's day I haven't seen any horror movies because I get scared easily and this is why I don't like scary movies for nothing.
The title of the story is called “WHY I HATE HORROR MOVIES” and the author is Fernando Vera the main message of the story is that the sisters of the little kid always like to mess with him and they knew exactly what they needed to do. The details I used were how the sisters knew the puppet was gonna scare him.
I think the diction i mostly used was anaphora I was kinda repeating some words in the story and the text structures I used I think one of them was cause and effect I was given details and etc and problem and solution on why they scared me and why I don't like horror movies.
For the tone i was say it was kind of mad because when the dad found it what the three sisters did to there brother there dad was mad and ground the it was happy at the same time because the sisters where having fun with it.
My conclusion of writing this was it always stay with me for all this years is not bad anymore but it always stay on my mind.
Phrases that caught my attention is when he explains his exact fear and where its from. It gives you a visual if you ever seen the charcter if you ever seen it .Details that I liked from this memoir was when he explains the build up of how he was simply sleeping to coming back from getting water to see his "nightmare". What I noticed is that he loves to explain his fear of this Billy charcter.
