On October the 30th which is on a cold chilly Friday right after school My friend Giselle's mom picked us both up and her mom dropped both of us off to her place and when she did I helped my friend Giselle clean up the house and helped her get ready by helping her chose what to wear for a party that we were both invited to. Days before going I had helped my friends that invited us to the party plan the whole thing by texting her or talking to her in person at times to have everything organized but i had also apologized because I had forgotten to bring some things but they were alright with it. I gave her ideas like watching Halloween movies and then slowly go into horror movies, listen to music, play a couple of games, and just relax at the end of the day with a bit of pizza while talking.
After getting ready we both waited for her mom to pick us up and drop us off at the party but while waiting we played Rock-Paper-Scissors, Among Us or we just listened to music together and sang. Then after Giselle's mom picked us up and dropped us off we went into our friends house who was hosting the Halloween party and 4 other people got there after us so when we got there we just started to fool around and help decorate the whole house for the party because we kinda got there a bit to early and so that's what we did.
Finally after doing all of that we all sat together and talked about random things and right after we got done talking we started carving pumpkins and it was fun, we threw the seeds at each other and we showed each others carving as well and honestly they were all amazing, one friend carved jack the skeleton and I really loved that one because I love jack the skeleton but right after we got done carving we all went inside and started watching horror movies and eating popcorn, candy, and pizza and at the end at the party everyone left.
I stayed over at my friends house and helped clean up a little then we continued to watch movies and talk together while we are sitting down on my friends comfy, soft couch and my friend is with her partner sitting across from me on another couch as comfy as the one I was on as well and we were also covered in blankets that were so soft and warm as if I was hugging a cuddly teddy bear.
I chose to write this story because it was a very good and fun moment for me. It reminds me of the good times I had with my friend Giselle and how we just fooled around a lot by just listening to music, making fun of each other and just calling each other names. I also chose to write about this story because it just made me feel happy writing about it.
What I liked about this Memoirs is that it explains everything and I could easily imagine it because of the way she would express everything and become so interesting. My favorite detail of this piece is the last part it reminds me of how single I am as the other girl with her warm blanket.
