In my freshman year of soccer class my teammates said that I was not going to make the team because when I was in 8th grade I had a bad season.
When tryouts came I was nervous because of what they said but I didn't listen to what they said to me. I was doing my best and on the last day of tryouts came Coach Angilu. He was calling out names of some players that tried out. He was talking with them independently and when I saw one of my friends I asked him what the coach told him and he said that the coach told him that he didn't make the team. When he finished talking to the one he called out then he said to everybody that if I didn't call you then you made the team. When he said that I got happy.
On Christmas break we had a scrimmage against another school and when we started warming up I was nervous about who was going to start. When we had 1 minute left, the coach told me that I was going to start the game. I played the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half. Yordy started and then the last 15 minutes Julian played. The second game we were going to play against a JV team from another school and in that game coach told me that I was going to play the entire game because the other team was a hard team.
In my freshman year I was the starter and I only got scored two times. To be continued ……..
The thing that inspired me to write this essay is that the soccer season started and I wanted to see how I started.
I really liked how he was talking about that people that didn't believe in him but he didn't care and still tried his hardest.

I like the part were he said "soccer is my biggest interest and soccer is my passion"that reminds me back then when i used to play soccer , When I was like 10 years old, Soccer was one of the biggest passion not anymore though.
