Have you ever wondered why you get up late in the morning? Today I was sleeping very calmly in my bed, I decided to wake up and then It got to my head I had to go to school. Then I reached for my phone and saw that It was 6:40 a.m., then I jumped out of bed and told my brother to wake up and look at the time. He looked at me and he looked like a Big eyed Fluffy-Tail Lemur. I woke up like I saw a million dollars and ran so fast to the bathroom and did my business. When I got out of the bathroom It felt like time started to practice cross country.
I got out of the house knowing that I was going late to school. On my walk to school I was with my brother and I noticed we weren't the only kids that were going late to school. And that made me wonder about If they have similar stories like I do. That made me think of the time when I was on online class and I only had to wake up and get ready for school, but I remembered how my grades look and thought about how being on time can help you In the real life and this can used as practice for the future.
When I arrived at school I went straight to class and did my work.
I wrote this essay by talking about something that happened to me that morning and I used the strategy I saw on a video Ms. Ntoso showed us of some 1st graders that saw an example on a video that helped them make a small paragraph into a big essay by adding more examples and making it exited and longer.
In my essay ‘’The morning’’, Eric Gonzalez draws our attention to him wondering if other people wonder why they get up late in the morning. He focuses on telling his experience on waking up late in the morning when he needed to go to school. I can see the author added parts like Big eyed lemur to make It longer and to show personification.
