Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25th. Christmas is mainly celebrated for the birth of Jesus. The majority who celebrate Christmas are Christians but now in this period of time Christmas has grown to become a symbolic time for peace and love and all over the world Christmas is celebrated.
Christmas is my favorite day of the year because I am able to spend time with my family and friends and also because I get a lot of gifts. I get gifts from my mom, my big brother, my dad, and aunts. Last year in the gifts they gave me new shoes, clothes, socks, and a lot of perfumes. This year I don't know what they are going to give me but I am excited.
In my country we have a lot of different traditions that we don't have in The United States. In my country buying new clothes and pooping a lot of fireworks is a tradition, that's why every Christmas I buy new clothes. I always buy a new shirt, new pants and new shoes and I pop a lot of fireworks every Christmas.
This Christmas I am going to my aunt's house and eat a lot of food. We are going to eat Sweet bread filled with fruits like raisins and raspberries, Tamales, Turkey, Gravy, and Dinner rolls. All that food is a traditional food that we eat every Christmas.
Christmas is the best day to spend time with family and have a good time. Christmas day is the day that makes the family stronger.
