Hero

In a beautiful place near the sea, lived Hero, a young priestess of Aphrodite. Hero was known for her kindness and beauty and lived in a tower high on a hill, where she spent her days offering gifts and prayers to the goddess of love.

Hero - Leander

Across the sea from the tower of Heron, on the other side of the sea, lived Leander, a young and brave man. Leander had heard many stories about Hero and her beauty and was eager to meet her. One night, at a feast for Aphrodite, Leander and Herault met and fell in love instantly.

The decision

As the days passed, their love grew. But the sea that separated them was a great obstacle. Leander decided that every night, when everyone was asleep, he would swim from his side to Heron's tower to see her. Hero, from her tower, would light a lantern to guide Leandro through the dark waters.

Every night, Leander swam with bravery and devotion, crossing the sea to meet his beloved. Heraud always waited for him with the lantern in her hand, and together they spent beautiful hours full of love and joy.

Storm

But one night, a great storm broke out. The waves became high and wild, and the winds blew with fury. Leander, although he knew the danger, decided to swim to get to Herault. But the storm was so strong that Hero's lantern went out, and Leander was lost at sea.

Grief

The next morning, Herault found her beloved Leandro on the shore, breathless. Her grief was immense and her heart was broken. Hero decided to stay forever near the sea that separated the two of them, and local people say that on stormy nights, a light can be seen flickering on the shore - Hero's lantern, still guiding her beloved.
