HOURS (Horae)
HOURS (Horae)
The Horaes were three sisters who lived high on Mount Olympus, the home of the gods. Each had her own special job and together they brought order and harmony to the world.
The first Hora, Eunomiya, was the goddess of good legislation. With her magic wand, she made sure that there was justice and order in every corner of the earth. When people disagreed or didn't know what was right, Eunomia would come to their aid, reminding them how important it was to follow the laws and live in harmony.
The second Hour, Diki, was the goddess of justice. She always held a scale in her hand and measured the good and evil that people did. If someone wronged someone else, Diki would set things right, giving everyone what they deserved. Its presence gave people the assurance that, no matter what happened, justice would win in the end.
The third Hour, Peace, was the goddess of peace and prosperity. With a gentle touch, she brought peace and happiness to the hearts of the people. When there were wars and quarrels, Irene would come and with her calmness stop the conflicts, helping people to live united and happy.
Together, the three Hours ensured that there was order, justice and peace in the world. Every day they worked tirelessly to make people's lives better. People thanked them with prayers and offerings, knowing that the Hours were always there to help and protect them.
And so, harmony reigned in the world, thanks to the three magical sisters, who made sure that there was balance and happiness in every corner of the earth.
