Europe
In the beautiful land of Phoenicia, there lived a beautiful princess called Europa. Europa had long, shiny hair and eyes that shone like stars.
Every day, she played with her friends in the blooming valleys and on the green slopes.
Zeus
One day, as Europa was gathering flowers by the sea, she was seen by Zeus, the king of the gods, from Mount Olympus. Zeus was enchanted by the beauty and goodness of Europe
and decided to approach her. In order not to scare her, he transformed into a beautiful, white bull with soft eyes and a gentle appearance.
Zeus - Europe
Europe and her friends saw the bull approaching and were impressed by its calmness and beauty. Europe dared to pet him and the bull knelt down in front of her,
like he was asking her to get on his back. With laughter and joy, Europe climbed on the bull, and suddenly, he got up and started running towards the sea.
In Crete
Europe was stunned as the bull swam swiftly over the waves. Although initially frightened, she soon felt an incredible sense of calm as Zeus, transformed into a bull, protected her. The bull took her to a distant island, Crete.
In Crete, Zeus revealed his true form and explained to Europe who he was. He told her how much he loved her and promised her that he would take care of her and protect her forever.
Their children
In Crete, Europa and Zeus had three sons, Minos, Radamanthus and Sarpedon, who became great kings and heroes.
The name of the continent
Europe stayed in Crete, happy and joyful, and its history was passed down from generation to generation, filling people's hearts with enchanting images and dreams.
