This journey has been extremely demanding and time consuming, but it has helped me in so many ways I didn’t think it would before. The knowledge I have gained has definitely surpassed what I had expected and what my learning goal stated. My learning goal focused on learning about the racial struggles people go through and picking up a few art techniques I am not confident with. However, during my research, I really got to dive into the history of each art piece and add those elements into future artworks. I was also able to develop new artistic skills with almost every medium used and extend my knowledge on website development. Something new I learnt through this journey was ATL skills. When I read through them, I realized that I had incorporated so many ATL skills such as research thinking- Find information in different media. Read a variety of sources for information and for pleasure. This is due to the fact that I was able to finalize resources that relate to my project and was able to educate myself on them as well. There are so many other skills I picked up and I am grateful this project expanded my knowledge on a variety of things.
