Through the process of achieving my goal, I have learnt to train my body to increase my core and chest strength through consistent exercise routine. I will do bicycle crunches, crunches, planks, and pushups.
I have developed a series of 7 videos on core and chest strength and publish them on YouTube to create public awareness about the importance of core and chest strength in fitness.
My personal project goal, which is on fitness and nutrition, is related to one of my subjects in school - PHE (Physical Health Education). My goal is to learn about and improve overall physical health and nutrition, which is also the focus of our PHE classes. Therefore, they are closely connected. When the pandemic started, I read many articles about people not maintaining their fitness and overall health. I also realized the importance of keeping fit and boosting immunity. This motivated me to take up fitness as my personal project. It has now become a part of my lifestyle. I am forever grateful for this opportunity that has helped me explore my interest to the fullest and has also helped me continue with it.
Research and self-management are the two ATL skills that played a huge part throughout my journey and in writing the report. This project has helped me understand the importance of time management and its usefulness in the long run. By the end of the personal project journey, I believe I have greatly developed my time management skills, and my judging skills have also improved.
