For my personal project I first wanted to educate myself by researching on breast cancer and how it affects young women. I had an interest in breast cancer because seeing someone in my own family go through breast cancer made me curious to know about it and study it further.

After conducting detailed research I wanted to educate young women like myself on breast cancer and how it could affect even younger women, since this is a very unknown fact.

I decided to do this through creating a website on breast cancer in young women with various sections on causes, preventions, and other facts, while also having an inspirational section with blog posts of different breast cancer fighters and survivors. I also wanted to help other breast cancer fighters by creating a donation section in my website, and also allowing viewers to share their stories. The personal project journey helped be gain a deeper understanding on breast cancer as well as learning how to create an aesthetic and user-friendly website for a specific target audience.
