Individuals can use the IB personal project to expand on their existing talents and hobbies, as well as gain insight into who they are or discover who they want to become. The personal project not only allowed me to demonstrate my unique talents and capabilities as well as demonstrate what I've learned as an IB Learner, but also helped me discover who I am. I've taken advantage of this chance to build my Personal Project on my passions, while also exhibiting them in the realm of music, with an emphasis on creating music that can empower and inspire others. I have written an original song with the intent of inspiring others and I have published the song on the internet gaining about 1200 views in less than 2 days. The overall response was great and even a celebrity, Aidan Gallaghar (who starred in a popular netflix show known as The Umbrella Academy and has 7.1 million followers on instagram) liked my youtube video. Music has always been personal, though I have been learning for more than 10 years I was really hesitant with sharing my music with others but this project has not only helped me gain more confidence in my music and sharing it with people but has also helped me develop and improve my skills as a musician.
