Passive Benefit: Your maximum Vitality Points increase by an amount equal to double your Stamina Proficiency Bonus.
You actively attempt to resist the penalties of suffering from the Fatigued, Wounded, or Staggered conditions. Resist Pain does not heal the damage you have taken; it only allows you to temporarily push the pain aside with pure adrenaline. Spend 1 action to make a Stamina check against a DC equal to 15 + your current negative Wound Points (or DC 15 if you are above 0 Wounds).
Critical Success: You ignore the these conditions for the rest of the Scene, or until you take further applications of Fatigued, Staggered or additional Wound damage.Success: You ignore the penalties of these conditions for the next 2d4 rounds.Failure: You suffer the normal penalties of your conditions.Critical Failure The pain temporarily overwhelms you and gain Stunned 3.If you are Dying, your body attempts to stabilize itself. At the start of your turn while you have the Dying condition, you make a Stamina check as a Free Action against a DC equal to 15 + your current negative Wound Points.
Critical Success: The character is no longer Dying and becomes On Death's Door. You regain conciousness at your current negative Wound Point total.Success: The character is no longer Dying and becomes Stable. You remain Unconscious at your current negative Wound total.Failure: You are still Dying, and you take 1 additional Wound damage (which will increase the DC of next round's check).Critical Failure: You die and are removed from play.
