Critical Success You land a Critical Hit on the target.Success You hit the target.Failure You miss the target. If you are launching a grenade or another area-of-effect weapon, if you fail the check by 5 or less, the target is still caught in the blast.Critical Failure You fire dramatically off-target. You do not target an individual, but you create an area of constant damage that lasts for the next round, requiring a Dodge Check against a DC equal to 10+your ranks in Heavy Weapons from each target that enters the area. Due to the nature of indirect fire and area-of-effect weapons, this can be fired around corners.
