You are skilled at avoiding detection, allowing you to slip past foes, hide, or conceal an item.
You can spend 1 action to hide a small object on your person (such as a weapon of light Bulk). When you try to sneak a concealed object past someone who might notice it, the GM rolls your Stealth check and compares it to this passive observer’s Perception DC. Once the GM rolls your check for a concealed object, that same result is used no matter how many passive observers you try to sneak it past. If a creature is specifically searching you for an item, it can attempt an Awareness check against your Stealth DC (finding the object on success).
You can also conceal an object somewhere other than your person, such as among undergrowth or in a secret compartment within a piece of furniture. In this case, characters Seeking in an area compare their Awareness check results to your Stealth DC to determine whether they find the object.
Success. The object remains unnoticed.Failure: The searcher finds the object. You can spend 1 action to huddle behind cover or deeper into shadows to transition from Observed to Hidden. You must have some level of Cover or be Concealed to attempt this. The GM rolls your Stealth check in secret and compares it to the Awareness Defense of any observing creatures.
Success: You are now Hidden from those creatures. (If you were already Hidden, you retain that condition).Failure: You remain Observed.Note: You cease being Hidden if you do anything other than Hide, Sneak, or Step. If you attack a creature, they are Flat-Footed against the attack, but you immediately become Observed afterward.
You can spend 2 actions to move to another place while remaining Hidden, or transition from Hidden to Unnoticed. You move up to half your Speed, treating all terrain as difficult (which means spending 2 actions allows you to move 1 range).
At the end of your movement, the GM rolls your Stealth check in secret and compares it to the Awareness Defense of any creatures you were Hidden from. (You must end your movement in Cover or Concealment, or you automatically become Observed).
Success: You remain Hidden during your movement, and if the enemy loses track of your exact location, you become Unnoticed.
Failure: A telltale sound gives your exact location away. You remain Hidden.
Critical Failure: You step out into the light or knock something over! You immediately become Observed by the creature.
