Benefit: Like a creature out of legend, you can shrug off most mundane forms of damage. You gain a damage resistance of 1 to all sources of damage other than damage dealt by your Anathema.

Benefit: You can perform simple Interact actions with your shadow, such as opening an unlocked door or knocking a vase off a table. Anything your shadow interacts with must be within your normal reach (typically Melee range). Your shadow cannot perform actions that requires any significant concentration or fine motor skills (such as anything that would require a check), and you can't use your shadow to hold objects.
Prerequisite: Horror, Shroud 5
Benefit: You wrap your shadow around a single unattended light source within 4 Range that's no larger than a floor lamp. Any non-supernatural light source you target is immediately shut off--candles are snuffed out, electric lamps and flashlights are switched off, glowsticks burn out, etc.
For supernatural light, you may attempt a Shroud check against the target's DC. Successfully counteracting the supernatural light source suppresses its ability to produce light for the rest of the scene, but doesn't counter other effects.
Prerequisite: Horror, Unarmed Attacks 5
Benefit: A human fist can deal damage, but that's nothing compared to the wounds a horror's talons can inflict. You may spend 1 Terror as a reaction to manifest one of your Monstrous Form's natural weapons while Veiling. You gain the benefit of all applicable Atavisms that affect that natural weapon.
Prerequisite: Horror, Clever Shadow, Larceny 9
Your shadow can carry objects for you. You can use a single Interact action to store or retrieve an object from your shadow, just like you would from a bag. Your shadow can contain a Bulk of object equal to 1/3 your ranks in Shroud. The items become incorporeal as they partially merge into the Twilight between the mortal realm and the Netherworld. However, the items are still detectable in your shadow, meaning they can still be detected by those with a clever eye. You gain Fortune or Stealth checks to Conceal the items in your shadow unless someone knows to check your shadow for them.
Prerequisite: Horror, Resolve 5
Benefit: You can manage your beast's hunger better than other horrors. You can increase or decrease the threshold for gaining the Hungry condition by 1 terror.
Prerequisite: Horror, Survival 5
Benefit: Your ability to track your prey reaches beyond the natural to the truly fantastic. If you are in possession of something closely associated with a specific person, place or thing--such as blood splatter, a scrap of paper from a codex, or a scrap of clothing--you can use Sense Direction to determine the direction to your target so long as it is on the same plane as you.
Prerequisite: Horror, Endurance 5
Benefit: Your hide is thick like treated leather. You gain a +2 bonus to your armour. In addition, if you take wound damage while still having vitality, you can spend 1 anima to transform that wound into 2d4 vitality damage. You cannot negate wound damage dealt by your Anathema in this way.
Prerequisite: Horror, Dodge 5, Movement 5
Benefit: You're primed to act a split second before others are. You gain Fortune on Initiative checks.
Prerequisite: Horror, Awareness 1
Benefit: You can sense the adrenalin in the air before an ambush, allowing you to ambush the ambushers. If you can act during a surprise round, you always act first. Additionally, you gain immunity to the flat-footed condition while in combat (you can still be caught flat-footed outside of combat, such as by a trap or an ambush you fail to detect.)
Prerequisite: Horror, Shadow 3
Benefit: Emulating vampires, you have learnt to feed on the blood of victims, drawing forth nourishment. You gain a bite attach that deals 1d4 piercing damage. You can attempt to feed like a vampire does, though your bite does not grant the euphoria of a vampire's bite, instead inflicting the terror of feeding upon your victim. Against a target that is grappled, restrained or immobilized and who you have already made a successful bite attempt against, you vampire may make a Shadow check to Drain Terror.
Prerequisite: Horror, Investigate 5
Benefit: You can recall previous events with perfect clarity as if they were scarred into your mind through trauma. You gain Fortune on all mental checks to recall knowledge or other relevant pieces of information.
Prerequisite: Horror, Gnosis 3
Benefit: Any being with anima can be prey for your beast--including yourself. By inflicting 1 wound of damage on yourself, you can convert 1d4 Anima into an equal amount of Terror.
Prerequisite: Horror, Stealth 1
Benefit: When trying to hide, you instinctively draw shadows in around yourself, making your form harder to make out. Increase the DC of the flat checks to target you while you are hidden or concealed by 2.
Prerequisite: Horror, Darkvision Atavism, Awareness 9
Benefit: You draw upon your connection to Shadow to see through all forms of darkness. By spending 1 Terror, you can see in supernatural darkness for 1 minute.
Prerequisite: Horror, Acrobatics 5
Your body twists and bends like a shadow. You cannot critically fail an Acrobatics check to Squeeze; treat all critical fails as a failure instead.
Additionally, if you roll a success on an Acrobatics check to Escape, you may treat it as a Critical Success instead.
Prerequisite: Horror, Diplomacy 5
Benefit: Your mortal form is incredibly distinctive, drawing from the latent fears of individuals to linger on in their minds. You can spend 1 Terror as a free action to give yourself a +2 bonus on one Charisma check.
Prerequisite: Horror, Stealth 3
Benefit: You have learnt to pass without leaving traces of yourself behind. You are still physically present, and you can be seen by human eyes or captured on camera, but anything else you leave behind fades into shadow within minutes of your passing. Attempts to collect DNA samples, fingerprints, hair, or clothing fibre from you automatically fail. Your footsteps never leave a full print, and dogs cannot track your scent.
