This skill represents your determination, and your ability to establish your own reality, resisting the affects of certain magics and supernatural abilities.
Generally, Willpower is used to defend against magical attacks when none of Composure, Dodge, Endurance or Resolve apply--essentially when magical attacks go directly for your own spirit.

Centre yourself metaphysically, reinforcing your own present reality. Willpower is usually used as a reaction, to measure how well you can resist magical assaults, curses, hexes, and hostile planar environments.
SPECIAL: You can actively use Willpower as a 1 Action skill to prepare to resist an attack over the upcoming turn. You gain a +1 to your active Willpower check for every 4 ranks in Willpower you possess.
Critical Success You spiritually resist triggering ability. You take no damage, and suffer no other ill effects from that ability.Success You successfully resist the triggering ability. You take half damage, and ignore other abilities as noted in that ability's description. Failure You suffer the full effects of the ability.Critical Failure You take double damage from the triggering ability, and other negative effects likewise have their duration doubled against you.Page updated
