Linux setting disk label
To list current disk labels:
sudo lsblk -o name,mountpoint,label,size,uuid
pi@buster48:~$ sudo lsblk -o name,mountpoint,label,size,uuidNAME MOUNTPOINT LABEL SIZE UUIDsda 1.8T└─sda1 1.8T c14ffaff-fd21-4fce-a54f-cf3f4ca41c08mmcblk0 29.8G├─mmcblk0p1 /boot boot 256M 1FAF-0B10└─mmcblk0p2 / retropie 29.6G a6308ae3-fdfb-4c68-b14f-ba56fb5746f1sudo e2label /dev/sda1 usbdisk1
sudo lsblk -o name,mountpoint,label,size,uuid
Should show labelled disk now.
reboot to verify fstab mounts by label
Run df -aTh.
Yes I see /home/pi/RetroPie mounted from /dev/sda1
