Fat32 MBR
Don't use max file size is 4 GB.
They say to use for old OS. I am not using old OS, so don't use.
exFat is BETTER than fat32.
NTFS is slow don't use.
exFat works fine on linux trying that.
The main advantage with exFat is no perms (I think this is a +) and works on windows and linux. The bad thing is something about journaling is bad and can't recover from corruption.
I am going to try exFat. The thing I don't get is it says exFat might need driver to work on retropie BUT exFat is default format for sdcard so how is that possible? Wait the sdCard image probably for retropie is not exFat. Will test. at least for smaller drives. Over 2TB I still wouldn't use exFat. Stick with ext4.
ext4 This is made for linux and should work best. I would just stick with this. So what if I can't connect directly to windows. Can work through shares on the pie.
Drive is /media/usb0.
I can cd into it just fine.
