As good as Emulation Station is, it (ES) just doesn't flow well in a vertical layout. Attract Mode on the other hand is amazing in a vertical layout. For this reason I want to setup a vertical only arcade layout with attract mode as the front end for it.

objects

display - A grouping of roms with it's own layout.

layout - how the UI looks.

emulator - One rompath, rom extension, exe, and artwork set.

romlist - list of roms with some metadata. Can specify multiple emulators in one rom list. Tied to one display.

filters - how to sort and filter the rom list. I gave each display a favorites filter.
