So there are 3 options to run colecovision
CoolCV (I read some where this ONLY works on Pi3 NOT Pi4.
lr-blueMSX (Can be installed under optional packages still listed under documentation)
lr-fbneo-cv
Names are diff, No Art, still they work. Good enough for now.
In RetroPie\configs\all
bluemsx_msxtype = "ColecoVision"
Saving this as core override in colecovision dir did not work.
Controls work fine but are here just in case (except not sure which buttons select which levels)
RetroPie\configs\all\retroarch\config\blueMSX
input_player10_joypad_index = "9"input_player11_joypad_index = "10"input_player12_joypad_index = "11"input_player13_joypad_index = "12"input_player14_joypad_index = "13"input_player15_joypad_index = "14"input_player16_joypad_index = "15"input_player2_joypad_index = "1"input_player3_joypad_index = "2"input_player4_joypad_index = "3"input_player5_joypad_index = "4"input_player6_joypad_index = "5"input_player7_joypad_index = "6"input_player8_joypad_index = "7"input_player9_joypad_index = "8"lr-fbneo-cv seems to be the newest way to play colecovision.
Thing is that it doesn't play any of my roms.
Apparently it needs a specific rom set, etc.
Now the question is why is this the default without the docs mentioning a thing?
Well It does just work. Maybe that's why. Triggers launch games.
Some game still don't work.
I find the rom set that kind of work BUT it's got no art, no org.
Decided not worth it. Stick with BlueMSX. See above.
