I did use two of the mounting clips. I did not use the mounting arm from this kit as the mounting arm that came with the ring seemed to  snap onto the vinil siding lip better. Tighter fit.

I used default motion detection speed. Fast drains battery so I will never use that. But might want to try slow to extend battery life. S
