The displayport input is version 1.2.
The display port cable that came with it is 5 ft. E119932 Style 20276. It barely reaches. 6-8 ft would be better.
If I want to get a longer display port cable are there different versions?
If I have an older longer 6 ft displayport , but it is thinner.
I also keep getting annoying error messages from monitor saying to make sure I use the right cables. Makes me think the video card might not be able to do 60 HZ at 4k?
It has Head Phones out. Does display port cable supply audio or does that only work with HDMI 2.0
For 4k@60HZ It looks like for GFX Card we need INTEL HD4600 or higher, AMD HD7000+, R7+, Geforce GT 640 or higher, or Geforce GTX 950 or higher. I own a Geforce GTX 670 w. 4GB VRAM. My Nvidia Control Panel shows 3840 X 2160 @ 60 HZ over Display Port. I am using the included Displayport cable. I do however often get the warning message "Please make sure you are using the correct cables". Is this because of my GTX 670 being below a GTX 950? I installed the On Screen Control. Is there somewhere I can verify in the app that everything is connected and supported correctly? On the Xbox One X I remember seeing green checkmarx next to supported options. Can I do that with this monitor on windows 10?
