I’m a freelance artist, travel journalist, and photographer and I founded a Japanese paper art business 25 years.

The original was made using an art form known as Chigirie, Japanese Torn Paper Collage Art, with 50 or more torn pieces of pre-dyed Washi paper layered to give that watercolor-like appeal. Prints are available in three sizes: 11” x 14”, 12” x 18”, and 16” x 20” (plus shipping) and will be printed (custom-orders) on Archival Fine Art Paper using Archival Pigment Ink.
