Autumn is here

The weather is cooling down, the leaves are turning colors, and fall fishing is well on it's way. I had a chance to stop by the Flatbrook to check out conditions. The river is very low and we will need some rain to get it flowing again. Subsequently, due to low river conditions, we were not able to float stock for the fall.

The Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) committee will be meeting on Wednesday, 10/16/2013 at 6:30 PM (1 hour before the chapter meeting) to disucss our first event. If you are interested in being involved, please come to the meeting.

We are waiting for the design and cost estimates from Joe Urbani for the Sparta Glenn Project. The design and estimate is expected at the end of this October.

We will be open the floor for Officer nominations at the October Chapter Meeting and we will vote at the November meeting. The following offices are open for election: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary.

Glenn Zeeck and Warren Weglinski will be doing a presentation on the 2013 Montana Trip at our October Meeting. A few chapter members got together and fished a few rivers in Montana this summer, a great time was had by all.

Finally, the Banquet Committee will start planning for the 2014 banquet. We will have a sign up sheet available if you are interested in volunteering.
