Happy Holidays!

Please Note: due to a scheduling conflict with camp Jefferson we had to move the holiday party date to December 10th.

I trust that by now everyone knows that the Holiday Party will be December 10th. Don’t forget to bring a $25 wrapped gift and any food you planned to bring. For those who haven’t been before, we generally have a fun-filled evening.

Steelhead fishing is heating up on the Salmon River. Did you all see the size of those “steelies” some of our guys caught during the chapter trip in November? Ten of our members rented a cabin on the Salmon River thru the 15th of March. If you’re interested in going there for a couple of days, contact Warren and see if there’s space available when you want to go.

We have lots of activities planned after the first of the year to keep our minds on fishing. The Somerset Fly Fishing Show is January 23 – 25, our Fly Tying Class starts on February 3rd, we expect Cast and Blast at Ramsey Outdoors will be February 21 and the FSB Banquet is March 21. Help out and enjoy the fun.

Our meeting in January should be enjoyable. Rod Rohrbach, the former owner of the Little Lehigh Fly Shop, is our guest speaker. Rod has become a Trout Bum over the last three years, and is a very entertaining guy.
