Fly Fisherman of the Year - Oct 17

The 6th annual Fly Fisherman of the Year contest and NJTU Council Banquet will be Saturday, October 17, 2015. A mid-October date should hopefully make for some great fishing! The Fly Fisherman of the Year contest is held at the Raritan Inn, on Route 513 in Califon, NJ. The Board has chosen to nominate John Nordstedt as the Fred S. Burroughs, North Jersey representative this year! At FSBNNJTU the nomination is a form of thanks and reward for outstanding work for the chapter over the last year. There is no doubt in our mind, that John Nordstedt deserves this nomination.

Lunch is provided for all at the Raritan Inn for anyone who is present for the contest. The day finishes with a dinner at the Raritan Inn, accompanied by a small bucket raffle. Proceeds benefit the New Jersey State Council. Anyone wishing to donate an item for auction please contact Richard Thomas at flyfishernj@gmail.com.
