- Soda bottles make for an easy and cheap alternative to regular bowling pins when practicing the underhand roll.
- Collect these as you use them, or ask friends and family for donations.
- When bowling, ensure the learner is practicing the correct skills, steps and cues to the underhand roll.
Construction Materials

- 5-10 plastic bottles (all same size)
- Anything needed to decorate the bottles how you'd like
- Sand or water to weight bottles down (if necessary)

- Collect bottles and decorate however you'd like!
- Do NOT have to use 10 pins as usual.
- Use with any size ball that's most appropriate and comfortable to the leaner. Try your best to use a ball that they are able to roll with one hand, to really practice the skill of underhand rolling.

- Modify and/or decorate bottles how you see fit. Choose something that will excite and motivate the learner. (Favorite movie, color, etc.)
- Insert glow sticks into the bottles to play in the dark or to assist learners with a visual impairment.
- Add bells or another source of sound to assist learners with a visual impairment.
- Teach the learner how to set up pins by placing tape or stickers where each bottle should be placed.
