Pool Noodle Light Saber

Uses

• This piece of equipment is simply for fun and imagination.
• "Use the force" to find your inner Jedi Master with this easy and cheap equipment to create!
• These also serve as a safe alternative to using bare hands when playing tagging games.

Construction Materials

• Pool Noodle
• Duct Tape
• Electric Tape

Instructions for Construction

1. Tape a handle around one end of the noodle with duct tape.
2. Use the electric tape ot highlight other areas of the handle.
   • Create "buttons" and other parts of the light saber.
   • Use a marker if you don't have electric tape.

Modifications of Equipment

• Teachers: kids love to use these as taggers for games like "Star Wars Tag" and other tagging games.
  • My student's loved when I told them to "make sure you shut your light saber off before you hand it to me!"
• Tip: the red light saber is typically the "bad guy".
