Use this equipment idea to practicing throwing skills for learners who are wheelchair users, visually impaired or travel very slowly.
Attaching the foxtail ball to the fishing line allows the learner to simply real the ball in, rather than taking the time to retrieve the ball and throw again (more time spent on practice repetitions and less time spent retrieving).
Release the line, then throw (open the bail or press the line or spool release button - see pictures).

Instructions for Construction
Purchase or create a foxtail ball (see "Sock Foxtail Ball" on this site to create).
Tie the ball onto the end of the fishing line.
Attach the pole to the wheelchair or prop beside the thrower.
Modifications of Equipment
Use "Robocup" drink holders for wheelchair users to hold the pole.
Create pole-holder attachment using PVC for wheelchair users.
Use a whiffle balls with coins inside for learners who are visually impaired.
Use any ball that will tie to a fishing line.
Use an ice fishing pole for smaller learners and chairs, or simply if don't want a large fishing pole in your way of throwing.
