Milk Jug Scooper

Uses

• Use this piece of equipment as an alternative to a "Jumbo Scoop" (pictured right) that's commonly used in P.E. classes.
• This equipment is a great way to practice tracking and catching an object with an implement and learing to toss in a different way.
• Create two of these pieces of equipment to play catch with and practice tracking and catching the object of choice.

Construction Materials

• Empty Milk Jug (Gallon or Half Gallon)
• Scissors
• Tape
• Ball to play with

Instructions for Construction

1. Cut the jug as the picture illustrates, creating a larger opening that leaves the handle completely intact.
2. Tape around the cut off edge for safety.
3. Purchase, find or create a ball to play with. (Typically used with a whiffle ball)
4. Play!

Modifications of Equipment

• Add desgins to the scoooper for fun and motivation!
• Create a ball from this website if you don't have one (Sock Ball, Sand Ballon Ball, Bell Ball, etc.).
