RATIONALE

Trentham School will self-review and document how the National Education Goals are being implemented.

INTENT

To manage and reflect on processes of self-review and identify strategies for continuous improvement. These will ensure quality teaching and learning programmes at Trentham School.

GUIDELINES

• The National Education Goals will be implemented through the Trentham School Charter, Strategic Plan, local curriculum, and teaching & learning programmes. -

• The goals of the charter will be included in the review process to ensure the National Education Goals are upheld.

• The school will outline the implementation of the National Education Goals in management procedures.

• The school will implement the following Statements of Intent:
  Performance Management

Self Review

Principal Appraisal/Performance Agreement

• The Board will review its performance annually based on the National Administration Guidelines.

• Each Lead Teacher is responsible for an area that is the current annual focus and will report to the Board at least once that year.

CONCLUSION

The National Education Goals will be implemented at Trentham School and the processes for this reviewed.
