Words and Images Overlays

Artist Statement: For this assignment, I had to overlay two images, one being a portrait of some sort and the other being a picture of words or text. I used two pictures of my dog and one picture of my friend that I took for a previous portrait assignment. For my word images, I took pictures of newspaper, and two different books. It was fun experimenting with the new overlaying method on photoshop. It was a little confusing at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was actually really easy. My favorite photo from this project is probably the last one because I like how there are music nots and the edit gives it an older effect.
