Album Cover

Artist Statement: For this project, I had to create album covers. I was very excited to do this because I love looking at album covers of songs and albums that I like. I also think that album covers can spark interest in songs and make me want to listen to them if the cover looks intriguing. The fist album cover I created is Beatles themed because I really like The Beatles and I thought incorporating a colorized background would give it a surrealism vibe that I think looks very cool. The second album cover I created is inspired by a few nights ago when me and my friends made a campfire and made s'mores and just talked and listened to music. I put together a bunch of pictures from that night to make a cover representing all the music we listened to. I think my favorited album cover is the second one because it is more personal to me and I used a lot of techniques like the select tool to make it.
