For this assignment, I had to take twenty photos that fell under twenty assigned prompts. At first, I was overwhelmed with how many photos I had to take but once I actually started taking them, it became easier. Some prompts were defiantly harder than others. For example, I had a hard time coming up with one for routine, and self-portrait. Some easier ones were something blue, shoes, and something you love.
To take these photos I first went outside with my friends and my dog and pulled up the prompts that I needed to do. I took many photos outside but eventually, I went inside and finished off the rest of the prompts. For a few of these prompts, I used photos that I took about a week ago, but for most of them I took in the past few days. I walked around my house and my yard looking for inspiration until I was able to find something for each prompt. For the editing, I did use photoshop for a few photos and made color selections. This is a method that I learned from last year in photo I and I really enjoy it. For the rest of the photos, I made smaller edits to enhance the images.
I think this assignment defiantly challenged me but in a good way. We had about a week to do it and it was nice to be able to spread out when I took my photos rather than have a shorter amount of time and take them all at once. My favorite photo from this challenge is either the celebration one or the eyes one. I like the celebration photo because it looks really cool and it is of my friends when we were celebrating my other friend's birthday. I like the eyes photo because if you look closely, you can see that the actual color of the eye is shown clearly while the rest of the photo is black and white.
